Norms, creator engine
Ten creators who say hemorrhoids out loud
A first roster for Norms: Big Sheets, Spray and Cream on camera, seven videos per creator per week, paid by band and checked against a claims sheet.
- creators live by week six
- 10
- creator videos a month at the full roster
- 303
- weeks from the first creator to the full roster
- 5
Three formats, one bag check
Illustrative: a creator unpacks the Full Hemorrhoid Treatment Bundle, names the cream, wipes and spray, and says $41.99 on screen.

Ten lines
| Roster | Ten creators, two added a week | Live count by week: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. The ramp takes six weeks (Proposed). |
|---|---|---|
| Who | Real people who say the word out loud | Desk workers, drivers, parents and comics who can hold a Big Sheets pack or the Spray on camera. |
| Production | Seven videos per creator per week (Proposed) | At ten creators that is 303 creator videos a month across Spray, Wipes, Squeezies, Bundle and Cream. |
| Pay | Three bands, capped at $600, $1,000 or $1,500 | Starter, Standard and Premium. All ten at the top cap, bonuses excluded: $15,000 (Proposed). |
| Bonus | Bonus at the cap, plus $50 past 100,000 views | At the cap: Starter $300, Standard $500, Premium $700. One $50 view bonus per creator per month. |
| Compliance | Claims sheet before camera | Creators say only lines copied from the Norms site. Drafts that break the sheet go back and earn no bonus. |
| Category rule | Own wording only, no promised results | Medicated wipes, spray and creams with 5% Lidocaine: no body shots, no medical advice, no outcome promises. |
| Goal | $1 per 1,000 views (Proposed) | The simulator starts at $5.74 per 1,000 views, so the first months are about closing that gap. |
| Report | One sheet every Monday | Views by creator and format, cost per 1,000 views, hooks killed and hooks kept. |
| Decision | Start the two-creator warm-up | Your call: begin with two creators in the first week, change the bands first, or pass. All three are fine. |

Why this playbook
Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.
At Tabs I built the creator program and the paid ad engine beside it. Here the same playbook meets Norms: a small roster, a hook library, one variable per test, losers killed early, with Big Sheets, the Spray and the Cream as formats. I have not run this category, so the claims sheet comes first and your team has the last word on wording.

Why Norms
4.69
Rating on the Spray, from 39 reviews
The Norms Hemorrhoid Relief Spray shows 4.69 across 39 reviews. That is proof a creator can point to without inventing any, and a reason to open with the Spray format.
Published$41.99
Full bundle price on the shop
Cream, wipes and spray sit in one bundle at $41.99 against a crossed-out $59.97. One price a creator can say on screen in the Bundle format.
Published15 million
Americans reporting hemorrhoids last year
Norms puts this next to 5.8% of the adult population. The audience is large and quiet, which is why a creator who says the word plainly stands out.

Part 4 of 15
Principles and workspace
One number to protect
Cost per 1,000 views, target $1 (Proposed). The simulator starts at $5.74, so the first months are spent closing that gap, one experiment at a time.
One variable per test
Hook, first line or cut, never two at once. A losing hook is killed early and the next one from the hook library takes its slot. Seven videos per creator per week gives enough tests.
Pay for work, reward proof
Caps of $600, $1,000 and $1,500 cover production. The bonus rewards organic proof only: $50 flat past 100,000 views, once per creator a month.
One workspace, one claims sheet
Briefs, claim questions, drafts and weekly numbers live in a team workspace with five channels. Any claim not on the Norms sheet is asked there before filming.

One channel for everything
#briefs
Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers
MartaMon 8:30 AM
This week's brief is the Spray format. Show the can, say fast, clean relief with a touch-free cooling mist, and put $17.99 on screen. Seven videos each, first drafts in the drafts channel by Wednesday.
PriyaMon 10:12 AM
Can I say the Spray stops the burning for good?
No. Use the sheet line: helps calm burning and irritation and reduce swelling. Nothing stronger and no promised result. Ask here first if unsure.
TheoWed 2:15 PM
Wipes draft is up: Big Sheets 48ct on the bathroom counter, joke in the first line.
Sending it back. The first line implies a fast fix. Reshoot the opening, keep the pack in frame and say $10.79.
Boost botAppThu 9:40 AM
Lena's Squeezies video passed 100,000 views, organic only. $50 flat bonus queued, one per creator per month. Hook added to the library.
MartaFri 11:00 AM
Friday check: every draft this week must carry at least one line from the claims sheet. Reply with the timestamp of each claim.
Done. All timestamps are in the thread, nothing outside the sheet.
Weekly botAppMon 8:00 AM
Weekly report posted: views by format, cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, hooks killed, hooks kept.
The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.
Part 5 of 15
Five formats

Brief 01
Spray: the cool-mist test
“fast, clean relief with a touch-free cooling mist”
Hold the can to camera, spray once on a hand in frame, say the line, show $17.99 on screen. One take, daylight.

Brief 02
Wipes: the pack-size reveal
“Are you one of us?”
Pull one Big Sheets wipe from the 48ct pack next to your hand, say $10.79, then the line. Keep the humor dry.

Brief 03
Squeezies: the travel bag check
“For When You're On The Road Or Out & About”
Film in a car, airport or van. Show the 5ct Travel Pack inside a bag, name it and say $12.00. Handheld, no voiceover.

Brief 04
Bundle: three formats, one price
“Three Feel-Good Formats”
Lay the cream, wipes and spray in a row, touch each one as you name it, then say $41.99 for the Full Hemorrhoid Treatment Bundle.

Brief 05
Cream: the serious response
“A Serious Response to Our Bodies' Least Funny Jokes”
Sit-down talking head, Big Squeeze 2oz tube in hand, say $25.99, close on the pack. No body shots. Stay inside the claims sheet.
Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “fast, clean relief with a touch-free cooling mist”, “maximum strength medicated hemorrhoid wipes”, “helps calm burning and irritation and reduce swelling”. Product names are said as printed.
Part 6 of 15
Recruiting
Four sources in
Comedy and deadpan creators
Comics and sketch writers who already joke about bathrooms and bodies. They need no coaching to say the word hemorrhoids, which is the hardest part of this category.
Sitting-job and on-the-road creators
Desk workers, drivers, streamers and van-lifers. Their daily life makes the Spray and the Squeezies Travel Pack part of the story rather than an insert.
Parent and family-life creators
Creators with a straight, warm voice who talk about postpartum life openly. They tell their own story and never speak to results or to pregnancy use.
Affiliate or ambassador page
I did not find an affiliate or ambassador page on the Norms site. Recruiting starts from direct outreach, and a brand-side page can follow once the first roster works.
Five filters, fewer each step
1Comfort on camera
Says the word hemorrhoids plainly. I watch three older videos for it before any message.
2Audience fit
Comments show real people, not a bought crowd, and the topic fits a taboo-friendly feed.
3Production basics
Daylight, clear audio, and a Big Sheets pack or the Spray readable on a phone screen.
4Claims discipline
Reads the claims sheet back in a test video before any contract is signed.
5Clean category record
No past posts promising miracle results or health outcomes for any product.
Part 7 of 15
Who fits
Desk-job comic
Jokes about eight hours of sitting and keeps the Spray in the bag, shown as a daily carry.
Likely product: Norms Hemorrhoid Relief Spray
Road-trip creator
Drivers and van-lifers who show the travel pack on the dash and in the bag.
Likely product: Norms Hemorrhoid Cream Squeezies (5ct Travel Pack)
Bathroom-honest reviewer
Unboxes the 48ct pack, reads the label out loud and keeps the humor dry.
Likely product: Norms Big Sheets Medicated Hemorrhoid Wipes (48ct)
Parent storyteller
Talks about life after a baby plainly, with no health promises and no body shots.
Likely product: Norms Hemorrhoid Treatment Cream (Big Squeeze, 2oz)
Unboxing and shelf reviewer
Already films Amazon-style unboxings and can show the larger pack with the price.
Likely product: Norms Hemorrhoid Cream Squeezies (12ct)
Fast-mist demonstrator
Short, sensory clips of the can, the nozzle and the cooling mist, in one take.
Likely product: Norms Hemorrhoid Relief Spray (Fast-Acting)
Left off, every time
Always out: minors, anyone who shows their own body, anyone who has sold miracle products, and anyone who will not read the claims sheet. Category rule: only the brand's own wording on relief, never a promised result.
Part 8 of 15

Part 9 of 15
Claims sheet
Approved, word for word
Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.
“fast, clean relief with a touch-free cooling mist”
Spray format, said alongside the can on screen
“maximum strength medicated hemorrhoid wipes”
Wipes format, when the Big Sheets pack is shown
“soothing everyday wipe that reduces burning and irritation while keeping things clean and chill”
Wipes and Wipe Outs formats, read as the brand's wording
“helps calm burning and irritation and reduce swelling”
Spray format, the one relief line creators may use
“highly effective, no-nonsense solutions for real problems that real people have”
Intro or outro line, attributed to Norms
“A Serious Response to Our Bodies' Least Funny Jokes”
Cream format hook and Bundle format opener
“For When You're On The Road Or Out & About”
Squeezies Travel Pack format hook
Never said
Each one with the reason it stays out.
Hemorrhoids are gone after one use
A promised result. The sheet speaks of relief wording only.
Skip the doctor, this is all you need
Medical advice. Creators never replace or discourage a doctor visit.
It works better than the other brands
A comparison. Nothing on the sheet supports it.
Safe to use while pregnant
The sheet holds no pregnancy wording, so creators stay silent on it.
My own flare-up vanished, so yours will too
A personal result told as proof of an outcome for the viewer.
Any promise of how fast relief arrives
Timing promises are not on the sheet, even with a day-by-day plan on the site.
To confirm with the brand
Held until someone on the brand side signs off.
Use the spray up to 4 times a day
Dosing wording sits on a site page. Norms confirms it against the package label before creators say it.
Ingredient and shrink-swollen-tissue wording
The Spray description names ingredients and a tissue effect. Norms confirms exact label wording first.
Part 10 of 15
Pay and bonus
Starter
$300–600
a month, by band
For first-time creators: a modest base and a small cap, with room to move up after the first month.
Bonus at the cap: $300
Standard
$500–1,000
a month, by band
For creators with steady audiences and a clean claims record after the warm-up.
Bonus at the cap: $500
Premium
$800–1,500
a month, by band
For creators whose hooks keep landing and who also film the Bundle and Cream formats.
Bonus at the cap: $700
Under 100,000 views
$0
The base pay covers the work.
+$50 flat
Whatever the band.
Top-up to your cap
Bonus = band cap − base pay.
- One bonus per creator per month, so no one stacks view bonuses.
- Paid per video: a single video past 100,000 views earns $50 flat.
- Organic views only. Boosted or paid views never count toward the bonus.
- No bonus on any video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule.
Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.
The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.
Part 11 of 15
Simulator
The simulator starts at $5.74 per 1,000 views against a $1 target. Either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views. Median, breakout and viral shares are Assumptions.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.
To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.
Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.
Part 11 of 15, continued
What moves the result
| If the median is | Views / month | Monthly cost | Cost / 1K | Hits target |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 750 | 1.4M | $10,050 | $6.96 | No |
| 1,500 | 1.8M | $10,050 | $5.74 | No |
| 3,000 | 2.4M | $10,050 | $4.24 | No |
| If the viral share is | Views / month | Monthly cost | Cost / 1K | Hits target |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.3% | 1.2M | $10,000 | $8.44 | No |
| 0.5% | 1.8M | $10,050 | $5.74 | No |
| 1% | 2.9M | $10,150 | $3.52 | No |
The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.
Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Week 1
Warm-up
Two creators go live each week until ten are live: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Each gets the claims sheet and one format first, Spray or Wipes.
Month 1
Test hooks, one variable at a time
Seven videos per creator per week across Spray, Wipes and Squeezies. One variable per test, losers killed early, first hook library built.
Month 2
Move bands on evidence
Bands move on cost per 1,000 views and claim record. Bundle and Cream formats join, using the $41.99 and $25.99 prices on screen.
Month 3
Cut winners for paid
Videos past 100,000 views are cut into paid tests. The $50 flat bonus applies once per creator a month, organic views only.
Month 3 close
Read the result against the target
Compare cost per 1,000 views with the $1 target (Proposed), then decide whether to keep, resize or stop the roster.
Monthly ceiling
$15,000 with all ten at the top cap
With all ten creators at the top cap and bonuses excluded, base pay cannot pass $15,000 (Proposed). The simulator shows the likelier $10,050.
$15,000 Monthly ceiling, all 10 creators at the top cap, bonuses excluded Proposed
The roster grows by two creators a week, so hook performance can be read week over week instead of by anecdote.

Part 14 of 15
Organic to paid
From organic to paid
Pick the winners
Organic videos that pass 100,000 views and stay inside the claims sheet move forward. Everything else stays organic.
Agree rights in writing
The creator agrees to paid use before any boost, with the claims sheet attached to the video.
Test as paid
One variable per test: hook, first line or cut. The losing cut is killed early.
Scale what holds
Winners get budget and a new hook from the library. Cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target decides.
From the video to the checkout
- Spray videos land on the Spray product page at $17.99.
- Bundle videos land on the Full Hemorrhoid Treatment Bundle at $41.99.
- Amazon, where the Norms site shows Now Available on Amazon Shop Now, is a second destination for shelf-minded viewers.
- The Wholesale page is for creators who talk to shops, never for general viewers.
- Free shipping is a cart message. Creators never quote a threshold.
Part 15 of 15
Category rules
Rules for a medicated hemorrhoid brand
Norms sells medicated wipes, a spray and creams with 5% Lidocaine. Creators speak in the brand's wording and never promise a result.
The brand's words only
Creators say lines copied from the claims sheet. They do not paraphrase relief wording into something stronger, and anything off the sheet is asked in the claims channel first.
No promised outcomes
No gone, healed or fixed. A flare-up story stays a story and is never offered as the result the viewer will get.
No medical advice
Creators never tell viewers to skip a doctor, change a dose or stack products. Use stays with the package label.
Bodies stay off camera
Product, pack and price are the shot. No body shots, no demonstrations on skin beyond a spray on a hand.
Disclose every post
Each post carries the platform's paid-partnership label and a plain spoken line that Norms works with the creator.
Pregnancy and children stay out
The sheet has no wording on pregnancy, postpartum use or children. Creators stay silent on all three.
The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
